North Logan City
About North Logan City
North Logan City is a community of approximately 11,000 people nestled in the middle of scenic Cache Valley. This small town was settled in 1884 as a bedroom community for the people working at the Agricultural College of Utah (Utah State University). North Logan has slowly grown over the past century into a vibrant community that boasts a wide variety of housing types and a welcoming environment for both small and large businesses. In addition, North Logan is home to Utah State University's Space Dynamics Laboratory, the leading university-affiliated space research entity in the United States.
While North Logan has grown considerably, the community still maintains a walkable, friendly rural feel. Citizens enjoy an extremely high quality of life, centered around a vibrant heritage of parks, trails, and community recreation, including running and cycling. With the newly constructed Green Canyon High School, Real Salt Lake Training Facility, and Elk Ridge Park athletic fields, along with the existing Eccles Ice Arena and an extensive portfolio of trails and parks, North Logan is a hub for outdoor and indoor recreation. With the highest park usage in Cache Valley, along with the largest acreage of planned parkland (per capita) in Utah, North Logan City is truly the "Best Place to Call Home" for its residents....and of course, the first stage of the Tour of Utah.
